I am annoyed that toy companies always insist on choosing the most mundane characters to produce in action figure form. No one wants to buy the action figure of the disposable bad-guys. No one wants 4 different versions of Big the Cat. Most frustratingly, the cult favourites are very rarely produced.

So, if they aren't going to make them, I am! Thanks to ebay and some poor listing, I picked up a Sonic and Shadow figure from the Sonic X "Megabot" ( XD ) range, and set to work tearing them apart *sob*...

...and rebuilding them! SONIC has now quite literally become SUPER SONIC! Shadow has kindly given Sonic his spikes, and with a little bit of crafting, some clay work, and a re-paint, we have the finished article. All the spikes are the right way around now, and are more pronounced than Shadows. The legs, and the right foot (which was in an "L" shape as if mid walking) have been remodelled, and Sonic can now hover/fly thanks to the aid of quickly running in and out of a Games Workshop to get some flying bases! (The running was neccisary to avoid the hyperactive staff).

I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, I hope you like it too. I just wish I could make these for everyone!!!!

"What did you do with the rest of Shadow and Sonic?" I hear you ask. Maybe if you look at my other art you might find some blueprints...
